EGYM Branded Member App: Now directly integrates with Health Connect and Apple Health

Deep dive: Native integration with Apple Health and Health Connect 

At the core of today’s connected fitness experience are two major health data platforms: Apple Health (iOS) and Google Health Connect (Android). 

The EGYM Branded Member App now integrates natively with Apple Health and Health Connect, bringing the data directly into the EGYM Ecosystem. 

Health Connect (Android) 

  • Aggregates data from Google Fit and Samsung Health
  • Integrates with a wide variety of third-party fitness apps, including Fitbit, Peloton, Oura, and other wearables
  • Brings all fitness and health metrics together in one place.

     

Apple Health (iOS) 

  • Apple Health syncing, previously available through BMA, is now natively integrated – making the process smoother and more reliable
  • iPhone and Apple Watch users can now enjoy a real-time connection between their workout data and your Branded Member App.
  • Has more accurate tracking than before

 

Global availability in October 

Apple Health and Health Connect native integrations will be available starting in October 2025 as part of the upcoming Branded Member App update. 

Android users: Android users get a push notification to connect to Health Connect, followed by a simple guided setup. Existing app connections remain active, so no data is lost. 

Apple users: No action required if they already have Apple Health connected. Their data remains securely in place and continues syncing seamlessly.
